Digital strategy and roadmap for Nestlé USA.


In 2016, food and beverage giant Nestlé USA engaged Javelin Group to define its digital vision, with particular emphasis on maximising online sales through its retail partners across the USA.


Javelin Group conducted a detailed assessment of consumer trends and market developments, providing a view of the size of the US online market to 2020 and identifying the ‘winning’ retail partners for the business to focus on strategically.

Javelin Group also helped to define the digital ambition and identified a long list of implementable digital initiatives aimed at improving consumer pain points, both on owned channels and e-retail partner sites.

The digital roadmap included organisational transformation, technology requirements and operational implications to support the digital vision.

At Nestle, we embarked wholeheartedly on our consumer digital transformation journey, from communication to commerce, but needed to dramatically increase our speed and focus. We engaged Javelin Group to help us refine our vision, ambition, strategy, organization and technology, as well as create an execution plan. Amy Meekings

Associate Director, Strategy

Amy Meekings is an Associate Director within Javelin Group’s Strategy practice. She has 10 years of digital transformation experience, and has spent the last 5 years focused in the retail and consumer sector with Javelin Group. Her experience focuses on omni-channel, ecommerce and digital strategy for a range of retailers, brands and consumer facing businesses including Unilever, Shop Direct, LEGO, Blokker, Post Office and RAC. Prior to joining Javelin Group, Amy worked on over 35 projects within the strategy teams at RSe Consulting and Tribal Group focusing on customer-led transformation. She graduated from Keble College, Oxford with a First-class BA (Hons) in Geography.
