In 2017, Javelin Group and Accenture were engaged by a large US food and beverage company to define its digital strategy to drive ecommerce sales through retail partners and owned channels.


Javelin Group conducted a detailed assessment of digitally-led market risk and opportunity, identifying and prioritising key digital initiatives, an as-is assessment of current consumer experience and capabilities and provided a roadmap of actions required to improve ecommerce sales.

In addition, Javelin Group undertook a high-level direct-to-consumer opportunity assessment and also a deep-dive on current performance with Amazon and identified actions required to drive improvement.

The digital roadmap included organisational transformation and technology requirements to support the digital vision.
