WE Fashion introduces omni-channel retail strategy with launch of new ecommerce website platform.

Leading Dutch fashion retailer, WE Fashion, has launched a new ecommerce website platform which fully integrates with stores, and introduces many new and improved omni-channel features such as click & collect, return online orders to store, and check store stock online.

The new wefashion.com website lays the groundwork for WE Fashion’s future as an omni-channel brand, providing the customer with the opportunity to shop ‘anytime, anywhere and on any device’.

More inspiration and a responsive design

The new website is fully responsive, which means the site automatically adjusts its size depending on the device being used, be it a desktop PC, mobile or tablet. With full screen lookbook photography, WE Fashion encourages its customers to combine items or even buy a complete look in one online purchase, which is a concept deeply rooted in the DNA of WE Fashion collections.

The new site allows customers to post product reviews, which help both online shoppers in their buying decisions and WE Fashion to continually improve both the site and its products.

State of the art

Javelin Group, Europe’s leading retail and omni-channel consultancy and systems integrator, was responsible for the development of the new site, and implemented Demandware, a state of the art ecommerce platform.

The new solution helps to enhance the shopping experience by allowing customers to set a favourite store or pay with a gift card, and offers an improved store locator as well as product pages with more filter options.
