A mid-sized European airport engaged Javelin Group to assist in the development of a retail ecommerce proposition, involving key commercial stakeholders from within and outside the airport ecosystem, including airlines, retailers and ancillary service operators. The aim of the ecommerce proposition was to provide a more seamless passenger experience, as well as enhance commercial revenues for all parties.
Outputs
The project scope included the formation of a holistic retail ecommerce strategy, followed by the development of a preferred strategic option across different stakeholders with regards to the customer proposition, operational and technical requirements, as well as financial opportunity.
