Should a retailer’s systems integrator be PCI compliant?
Intershop is the world’s only independent provider of enterprise solutions for omni-channel commerce. Our first Intershop development project was JK Rowling’s Pottermore Shop ecommerce website (shop.pottermore.com), a pioneering multi-lingual, multi-currency website selling digital versions and audio ebooks of the full range of Harry Potter books, with a unique digital download and watermarking solution to personalise each edition.
We have also developed new multi-device ecommerce websites for Majestic Wine, the UK’s largest mixed case wine retailer, de Bijenkorf, a leading Dutch department store chain, and Jumbo Supermarkten, the Netherlands second largest retailer, and we are working on other major ecommerce website development projects.
Please see below for Javelin Group and Intershop clients, or contact Anthony Farrow at email@example.com to discuss your requirements.
We are now thrilled to offer our customers a seamless multi-channel experience across all devices, on a robust platform. We have seen a 50% improvement in site performance and an immediate uplift in sales following the launch of our new website. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Javelin Group and we have already engaged the team for ongoing and future work.
Pieter Heij, Multi-Channel & IT Director, de Bijenkorf.

At Jumbo Supermarkten we aim to offer our customers the best service, the largest range and the lowest prices, and we are now delighted to be able to extend our unique formula to our customers via online shopping. With The Netherlands’ online grocery market expected to triple in the coming years, we embarked on this project with Javelin Group almost two years ago to meet the current and future needs of our customers. Javelin Group has been central to the success of Jumbo.com, from initial definition, through design to implementation. It has been a delight to work with such a professional team at Javelin Group and I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together.
Roland van den Berg, former eCommerce Director, Jumbo Supermarkten.
Just a quick note to thank everyone at Javelin Group for what’s been achieved with our new website. We’ve been consistently impressed with how efficiently and professionally the project has been run, and how smooth the launch process was. Most importantly of course we’re delighted with the website itself, and the feedback from customers and our staff has been very positive. I know your team has been working extremely hard to make this happen. It’s a pleasure to work with a partner who are so invested in the success of the project, and everyone concerned deserves great credit for a job well done. I look forward to future projects with Javelin Group.
Richard Weaver, eCommerce Director, Majestic Wine.
