Sir Geoffrey Mulcahy
 
Chairman

Sir Geoffrey Mulcahy is widely considered one of Europe's most successful retail strategists. As Javelin Group's Chairman, he provides strategic guidance and sets the direction for our growth. Previously, he spent 20 years as CEO of Kingfisher plc, growing it into one of the largest non-food retailers in Europe including B&Q, Comet/KESA, Superdrug, and Woolworths. He retired from Kingfisher in 2003.

Dr Bryan Mayoh
 
Vice Chairman

Dr Bryan Mayoh is one of the most experienced home shopping professionals in the UK. Until 1998, he was MD of Littlewoods Home Shopping and grew profits from £40m to £90m over three years. He also launched Index Extra, growing sales to 240m in three years. Prior to this he was MD of Littlewoods Stores, a chain with 130 outlets and sales of £500m. In addition to his role at Javelin Group, he is Chairman of Dream Direct and Warehouse Express.

Since founding Javelin Group, Tony Stockil has managed a wide range of projects for some of the UK's leading retailers, with a primary focus on strategy and multi-channel retailing. He has worked in the retail sector for many years, has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a background in corporate strategy and venture capital.

Richard Wolff

Richard Wolff, Javelin Group's co-founder and COO, runs our Multi-Channel Retail practice. He has planned and developed strategies for clients such as Littlewoods, B&Q, M&S, Redcats, and Findel. Before starting Javelin Group, Richard worked at GUS where he became General Manager of Marshall Ward, one of the UK's largest direct catalogues. He has an MBA from Manchester Business School. Prior to his MBA he was a director of NatWest Markets.

Will Treasure

Will Treasure runs our Retail Operations practice, covering logistics and supply chain, buying and merchandising, and store operations. He has designed and/or implemented operational and associated technology solutions for over 50 retailers including Tesco, Woolworths, B&Q, Sainsbury, Debenhams, Comet and Carphone Warehouse. Prior to Javelin Group, Will built and ran Iceland Group's home delivery service, growing sales to £160m in 12 months. Will graduated from Oxford with a starred first in Engineering, Economics and Management.

Robin Bevan

Robin Bevan runs our Retail Locations & Shopping Centres practice, having worked across Europe in all retail sectors for a variety of retailers, leading brands and shopping centre owners/developers. His 20 years’ experience encompasses all aspects of retail property investment and his client experience includes Sony, Pets At Home, Carphone Warehouse, New Look, Nike, Hammerson, Lend Lease, BAA, Gresham Private Equity and Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining Javelin Group, Robin was CEO of Management Horizons Europe. Robin graduated from Oxford in PPE and is an active member of the Education & Research Board of the British Council of Shopping Centres.

Michael Fine

Michael Fine runs our Retail Strategy and Commercial & Operational Due Diligence practices. His 20 years’ experience combines investment recommendations for institutional investors and store-based strategy engagements for retailers and consumer goods brands. Recent clients include private equity firms such as 3i, Blackstone, Bridgepoint, Cinven, Goldman Sachs, Langholm Capital, and Terra Firma, and retailers and brands such as Tesco, Kurt Geiger, Nike and Noa Noa. Prior to joining Javelin Group, Michael was a director of Management Horizons Europe.

Simon Evetts heads our Retail Technology practice covering IT strategy, package selection and implementation. He is one of the UK's leading experts on retail technology strategy and has helped over 50 retailers develop their strategy and implement solutions, including Tesco, Kingfisher, Woolworths, Ann Summers, M&S, Clarks, Mothercare and Virgin Megastores. He has over 10 years of experience in helping retailers derive real benefits from technology solutions for multi-channel, buying and merchandsing, warehousing, call centres and stores.
