Tony Stockil


Since founding Javelin Group, Tony Stockil has managed a wide range of projects for some of Europe’s leading retailers, with a primary focus on strategy and omni-channel retailing. He has worked in the retail sector for many years, has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a background in corporate strategy.

Richard Wolff


Richard Wolff, Javelin Group’s co-founder and COO, runs our Retail Strategy practice. He has spent many years running and advising retail businesses. Recent clients include Clarks, Mothercare, John Lewis, B&Q and Marks & Spencer. Richard has an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Will Treasure

Director, Operations

Will Treasure runs our Operations practice. He has designed and/or implemented technology and operational solutions for over 50 retailers, brands and B2Bs including Tesco, ASOS, Delhaize, Mothercare, Waitrose, Spicers and Carphone Warehouse. Prior to Javelin Group, Will built and ran Iceland Group’s home delivery service, growing a business from start-up to £160m annual sales in 12 months. Will graduated from Oxford with a starred first in Engineering, Economics and Management.

Robin Bevan

Director, Locations & Analytics

Robin Bevan runs our Locations & Analytics practice. He has over 25 years’ experience in retail property, including location strategies for retailers, geographic channel strategies for brands, shopping centre strategies for developers and owners, due diligence for private equity investors and commercial space planning for travel hub operators, and has wide international experience, having worked in 20 countries. Robin also leads our Ignite m-commerce initiative, which brings digital into the heart of the physical environment (e.g. shops, shopping centres, travel hubs). A PPE graduate from Oxford University, Robin contributed recently as part of the industry taskforce which published the influential Beyond Retail report for central government.

Michael Fine

Director, Commercial & Operational Due Diligence

Michael Fine runs our Commercial & Operational Due Diligence practice. His 20+ years of experience combines investment recommendations for private equity corporate and other investor clients, with strategy and performance improvement work for retailers and consumer goods brands. Recent clients include private equity firms such as KKR, Advent, BC Partners, Bridgepoint and Living Bridge, and retailers and brands such as Matalan, New Look, sofa.com, Timberland, Kurt Geiger, Nike and the Post Office.

Fraser Davidson

CTO & Director, Systems Integration

Fraser Davidson is our CTO and runs our Systems Integration practice, which develops world-class ecommerce websites and solutions for retailers across the globe. Prior to joining Javelin Group, Fraser spent over 20 years at IBM working across most solution areas and industry segments. In 2001 Fraser was appointed to the IBM senior leadership team for northern Europe, where he held a number of executive positions including Director of the Retail & Distribution Industry and Vice President of IBM’s Software Business.

Richard F Wolff

Director, International Retail

Richard F Wolff runs our International Retail practice. He brings a wealth of experience to the role following a career spanning 36 years at Marks & Spencer, most recently as Director of International where he was responsible for growing the number of international stores to 250 in 30 territories. Under his direction, Marks & Spencer opened stores in territories such as Russia, India, the Middle East, the Far East and Europe. Since joining Javelin Group, Richard has helped leading retailers in the UK and across the world, including Debenhams, ECCO and Majid Al Futtaim, with their international retail expansion plans.

Martin Ryan

Director, Technology Consulting

Martin Ryan runs our Technology Consulting practice. He has 20 years of experience in the consulting industry and has worked with some of the world’s largest retailers and brands, including Walgreens Boots Alliance, C&A, Delhaize, H&M, Marks & Spencer, OTTO, Primark, Urban Outfitters and Woolworths Australia. Martin started his career with IBM in the 1990s and has a degree in Physics from Oxford University.

Ryan Quaye

Technology Services Director

Ryan Quaye runs our systems integration and post implementation delivery and support operations, and works closely with partners and clients to ensure the successful delivery of our technology projects. Over the past 14 years, he has worked with some of the world’s largest retailers, brands and b2b companies helping them to focus on and thrive in their journey of digital transformation including, Time Inc., Symantec Corp, Research in Motion (Blackberry), Mothercare, Doosan Group, Bestseller AG, Avis Budget Group and Shutterfly Inc.

Allen Gahn

Programme Director, Technology

Allen Gahn runs our large technology programmes delivering ecommerce websites and solutions to retailers across the globe. He has implemented solutions for over 20 retailers, brands and B2Bs including recent clients Jumbo Supermarkten, Debenhams, Mothercare, Majestic Wine, Doosan, Pottermore, and WE Fashion. Prior to joining Javelin Group, Allen managed delivery of technical solutions to large organisations such as GlaxoSmithKline, SAP and The Guardian. Allen has an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.

Anthony Farrow

Client & Partner Services Director

Anthony Farrow manages our key client and technology partner relationships. He joined Javelin Group in 2001 and has many years of experience advising retailers, brands and B2Bs on retail and digital technology strategy. Anthony specialises in both consulting on and delivering complex global technology solutions. Anthony has worked with the world’s leading retailers (e.g. Tesco, H&M, B&Q, Clarks, Auchan), top brand names (e.g. Mulberry, SuperGroup, Radley, Cath Kidston, Bench) and B2Bs (e.g. RS Components, Ingram Micro, IMI Norgren, Rexel).
