Development of Oasis’s new next generation website.

Oasis is a British fashion retailer, launched in 1991. It has approximately 300 stores in the UK and Ireland, including its concept store on London’s Tottenham Court Road, 200+ concessions in department stores, and trades in 96 locations across 27 countries in Europe, Scandinavia, the Far East, Middle East, Mediterranean and South America.

Project

Oasis engaged Javelin Group to develop a next generation ecommerce website on the Demandware platform, to support the ongoing omni-channel customer experience strategy and transform their digital offering.

Outputs

The new, responsive website delivers a vastly improved customer experience offering in three main areas:

oasis_seek_and_sendStock visibility
Expanding on its already popular ‘Seek & Send’ service, where stock can be sourced from across the store estate and delivered to the customer’s local store or preferred location, Oasis-Stores.com now has a ‘Shop by Store’ feature, where customers can view a store’s real-time inventory information, either by selecting a specific item or filtering results by category.

 

Delivery
The new website offers its customers enhanced delivery options, such as nominated day delivery, next day and evening delivery, click and collect, and a 90 minute fulfilment service using Shutl.

Content
Oasis’s new website places greater emphasis on consumer-generated content. Customers can create personal wish lists, view what others have recently bought, using the ‘Loved Right Now’ live feed and even share their own Oasis outfits, via the newly created ‘Oasis My Way‘ feature.

oasis_contentThere is also a dedicated social hub, called #OasisFashion, which encourages customers to engage with all social media touchpoints, such as Twitter, Facebook, blogs and personal stylist tips.
